Large orders and costly alternatives lit the bulb of creativity in Mikes head.
When the orders for field grown trees began to take a toll on the family workforce, productivity began to decline. With a sense of sympathy "Mikey D" broke new ground in the industry with a very cost effective and simply strong design of the Tree Knife!
Field tested vigorously
Many tested hardened steel blades and gradually thicker tube steel were used in perfecting the knife that catapulted our family into key growth years. Upon years of use weak points were found and corrected. Finally tested with a breakout force of 7669.9lbs and under load of 9153.6lbs did not even bend the blade. Eventually variations to different situations were created and it was then decided to patent this idea. We as a family are excited to help other professionals utilize our equipment to ease the strain of growth one cut at a time.
